Late Show with Stephen Colbert Donald Trump
Donald Trump made an addendum to his Helsinki statements, changing the meaning of his widely condemned remarks into the exact opposite of the what he originally said. No biggie!
For everyone who wished to be a fly on the wall for Trump's one-on-one meeting with Putin… here you go.

Mark G. Smith That idiot ain’t gonna be able to walk that back. The entire world saw it on live tv. The gop must’ve had explosive diarrhea when they saw it. There’s only so much they can pretend they didn’t see or hear. Their seats on the line ..
Dave Dawson C'mon. Nobody pays attention to Trump's syntax anyway because it makes no goddamn sense. It helps his fans hear whatever they want.
I mean, this is the guy whose rejoinder to Clinton's debate assertion that he was a puppet for Russian interests was "No puppet. No puppet. You're the puppet."
And lest we forget Covfefe.
My point is, it's all word salad and he doesn't seem to grasp the real reasons why people thought his comments with Putin were so weird, and seemed to genuinely think explaining this verbal slip would clear it all right up.
That's far scarier than the slip itself.
Janet Boudreau Dear Stephen, I do love you dearly … your nightly opening is always so funny …. it helps me find humor in the worst of the horrendous blunders 'Putin's Poodle' makes and his continuously shaming of the USA. Thank you, sir !!
Maureen Conlon Maclay I wonder if it would or wouldn’t make a difference if President Trump did or didn’t clarify everything he has said since elected. Robert Mueller may or may not know what is or isn’t ahead for our country. I just hope Mueller does or doesn’t speed up the investigation & finds or doesn’t find Hillary’s missing or not missing emails. I believe or may not believe our election system is prepared for additional meddling by other countries including or not including Russia.
